I offer private yoga lessons, therapeutic yoga, Positional Release Therapy, Reiki, and Facial Therapy by appointment. Private yoga and yoga therapy sessions are ideal for those who want a custom-designed program, need to work at a slower pace, or need to work around specific health issues, pain, or disease.

Positional Release Therapy is a gentle but very effective method of relieving pain and bringing the body back to alignment and balance. It’s like assisted yoga on a table! I follow the method of Lee Albert, who designed a protocol to quickly and easily lengthen tight, constricted muscles and restore range of motion and also passively relax those tight, constricted muscles, allowing them to reset and return to neutral. The results are often dramatic and long-lasting. Hips can be brought back into alignment within minutes; plantar fasciitis can be healed in a couple of weeks rather than several months to a year; sciatica, heel spurs, ankle, knee, back, neck, wrist, elbow, and shoulder pain, as well as headaches and more can be treated with positional release. This treatment is done fully clothed.

Reiki is a natural method of energy healing. You will remain fully clothed and will feel safe and nurtured as I lightly rest my hands on your body. You may feel a sensation of healing warmth coming from my hands, and will likely move into a relaxed, meditative state. At the end of the session, clients usually feel very rested and often gain new insight and clarity with a particular issue. Reiki can release tension in the body, and is especially good for releasing mental or emotional tension.

I became interested in Reiki after my son noticed that “something powerful” was coming out of my hands. I received my first degree of Reiki training in 2002, and received three more degrees before earning Master status in 2004 and a 6th-level degree Reiki-Seichim Master Therapist status in 2009. Through Reiki, I’ve helped people work with grief, stress, disease, pre- and post-op, past trauma and more.

Facial Therapy combines Reiki with a unique facial massage done with a soft ball to stimulate bone, lift muscle, and improve circulation from the inside out. This treatment is deeply relaxing and can reduce facial tension that leads to headaches, sinus problems, jaw pain, and clenching.
